20 Dec MODUS, 60 Years Later

The coming year marks the 60^th anniversary of MODUS (formally Gilmor and Doyle LTD). Over this time, we’ve experienced an incredible amount of change (some of us even still remember slide rules and coffee-stained blueprints…) But as we reflect, we’re quick to realize that what’s truly important has stayed the same: our focus on staff and clients.

Over six decades, our experiences with staff have run the gamut. The emotions have ranged from the joy of births and marriages to the sadness that comes from loved ones passing; through all of this, we’ve been there for each other. I often remind the staff, it is the people that the company exists for, not the other way around.

And of course, we would not be celebrating 60 years of a successful business without our customers. We have been blessed to provide decades of service to organizations, businesses, and individuals around Iowa and the entire nation. The relationships we have formed over the years make it easy to get up in the morning, excited to come to work that day. At our core, we believe that “good business is done among good friends,” and that has proven to be true time and time again. We sincerely thank all of our clients: our friends.

So as we embark on our 60^th year, let me again say thank you for a beautiful ride to get to this point. We look forward to many more years of good business with you, our good friends.
