Jake Dodge Selected to Lead DSM’s GDMLI Program

We are thrilled that Jake Dodge, one of our outstanding engineers at MODUS, has been selected to join Lead DSM’s Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute Community Leadership Program! Jake’s commitment to making a difference in the community has always been at the forefront of his work, professionally and personally. From his involvement with initiatives like the 6 Feet Shorter Campaign, where he and his wife sent nearly 700 handwritten letters to local healthcare facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, to his volunteer work at Freedom for Youth, Jake continually goes above and beyond to support those in need. His dedication to providing underserved youth with creative outlets, such as woodworking and welding, is just one of the many ways he’s been making a lasting impact.

Jake’s passion doesn’t stop there—he has also been a consistent volunteer with Night to Shine, an annual prom event for individuals with special needs, where he serves as a buddy and escort, helping to create a magical night filled with joy and celebration. His leadership extends to his work at Valley Church, where he leads a life group for young married couples and offers his time and skills for various projects that benefit the church and the surrounding community. Each of these experiences highlights Jake’s deep belief in the importance of community engagement and his unwavering desire to help others grow and thrive.

At MODUS, we couldn’t be more proud of Jake’s selection to Lead DSM. His commitment to leadership and his drive to uplift the Greater Des Moines area align with our values of community service and innovative thinking. We are excited to see Jake continue his leadership journey through the Community Leadership Program and are confident that his unique perspective and problem-solving abilities will have a positive impact on both the program and the community.

Congratulations, Jake!
