ISU Gateway Bridge

Ames, IA

MODUS played a crucial role in the Gateway Bridge project at Iowa State University by designing the electrical and lighting systems for the bridge. This $10 million project was initiated by the athletics department to provide a safe pedestrian route between the football stadium and gameday parking areas east of University Boulevard. MODUS’ expertise in electrical engineering ensured that the bridge was well-lit and safe for pedestrians to use.

The bridge spans the road east of Jack Trice Stadium and connects the east side of the stadium, at Gate 2, to new parking lots east of University Boulevard. It is part of a multi-use district plan that will be built in the area between Jack Trice and Hilton Coliseum on the Iowa State University campus. We are proud to have been a part of this project and to have contributed to making the Iowa State University campus safer and more accessible for students and visitors.
